Can Time Inc. Survive the Kochs? November 28, 2017 By
..."This year, among the Kochs’ aims is to spend a projected four hundred million dollars in contributions from themselves and a small group of allied conservative donors they have assembled, to insure Republican victories in the 2018 midterm elections. Europeans counter NATO summit

Several major peace organizations have joined "No-to-NATO" for demonstrations, an activist camp, and conference in Wales, as the NATO summit starts in perilous times.

See:  Workshop: women and war during Counter Summit NO NEW WARS – NO TO NATO

From the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, UK:

Join CND to protest against the NATO summit in Wales in September

"Membership of NATO binds European nations – including the UK - to internationally unpopular US foreign policy, a foreign policy increasingly unpopular around the world. NATO membership forces non-nuclear countries to host US nuclear bombs in their countries, near their populations.

This autumn, powerful world leaders will make their voices heard at the NATO gathering. We must make sure that the voice of the millions around the world who want peace and justice is also heard. A week of demonstrations and discussions is planned, see full details below."

And Ukraine?

For a good review of the critical situation there see:

"Experts warn that if US and Europe continue to expand NATO's reach without recognizing destructive consequences, crisis in eastern Ukraine risks serious escalation."
