..."This year, among the Kochs’ aims is to spend a projected four hundred million dollars in contributions from themselves and a small group of allied conservative donors they have assembled, to insure Republican victories in the 2018 midterm elections. Sept. 20-21 in NYC: Americans can show they care -- act for the climate

From the climate change organization 350.org: "Together, we’ll take to the streets to demand the world we know is within our reach: a world with an economy that works for people and the planet. A world safe from the ravages of climate change. A world with good jobs, clean air, and healthy communities for everyone."

UN General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon has called on heads of state worldwide to come to NYC in Sept. to get serious about coordinated action against climate disruption. Already four months before the event a long list of organizations are supporting 350.org's call for a mass march, demanding action, and thousands are preparing to come. For more information: http://peoplesclimatemarch.org/

Let's meet together with the Women and Life on Earth Banner made for the June 12, 1982 demonstration against nuclear weapons that brought a million people to NYC. See the Bread and Puppet archival story.
