Planet Diversity Congress: international success

An international demonstration, festival and three day conference marking the opening of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity brought thousands to Bonn, Germany, to demand small-scale diversity instead of coporate monocultures.

Documentation of Planet Diversity can be seen on their website at www.planet-diversity.org

The first results from the documentation of the "Women of Planet Diversity," organized by WLOE and Women in Europe for a Common Future (WECF), is now available on You Tube.

The first link is to a general overview of the demonstration and festival on Monday, 12 May (in German, English, French). The second and third are of our group presentation at the closing plenary on Thursday, 15 May. A delegation from our women's strategies workshop presented a group statement (in original Spanish, French, English and German). Translations and transcripts will follow, available on this website.
