The people united: mass demos in Budapest win victory over planned tax

Unfair taxes have led to revolutions before. That didn't happen in Hungary this time, but mass opposition to an internet usage fee was dropped by the regressive Orban government. See why here!

The first demonstration against the planned tax on individual internet use was held on Oct. 23rd. Read Reuters article here.

On Oct. 28, action continued, with a massive march of 100,000 people.
