Women on the Road to Rio-+20 Online Community

A new website has been established in preparation for the Rio + 20 Earth Summit in 2012.

The UN conference on sustainable development (Rio+20 or Earth Summit) will take place on June 20-22, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, 20 years after the original world summit. The participation of women in this process and their contributions are critical for the success of the conference. The official Women’s Major Group/Rio+20 Steering Committee has set up an interactive website to prepare for the meeting:
